Lieutenant Michael Brady
Resolute Hunter Exercise Officer, MISR WTI
Lieutenant Michael Brady, a native of Denver, Colorado, graduated from the University of Illinois in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He earned his commission through the NROTC program and was designated a Naval Aviator in August 2020.
After completing initial training in the MH-60R Seahawk, LT Brady reported to the “Easyriders” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron THREE SEVEN (HSM-37) in August 2021. His operational background spans the 3rd, 6th, and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility. During this time, he deployed aboard a diverse range of platforms, including USS HALSEY (DDG 97), USCGC MIDGETT (WMSL 757), USS LEYTE GULF (CG 55), and the aircraft carrier USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN 77).
In June 2024, LT Brady joined the Maritime ISR (MISR) department at the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC). A graduate of MISR WTI Class 24-2, he now serves on the Weapons School staff. He is currently the Resolute Hunter Exercise Officer, managing coordination and execution of the Navy’s only live, joint, coalition exercise dedicated to Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Battle Management (BM), Command and Control (C2), and fires.
